Poli Poli trails with less doubts



Had a great long run yesterday, actually, the same than last week, except 10 minutes faster - Did not watch my pulse or heart rate zone, and allowed myself to fight in Zone 5 in the ascents. Same run, except, no pain. No pain at the start, no pain during. I was anxious -today- to see if there will be sequels - soreness is acceptable.


Another run at the top of the world. Or at least, over the clouds.
And, there is soreness, of course. You cannot really expect to run 2:30 without any feedback. There is some tightness in the hip flexors, not really a surprise. Maybe a hunch of a pain the the right hip flexor or psoas, but, overall, waaay better than I would have expected.


Nowadays, by favorite hip flexor stretch and stabilization exercise. Harder than it looks. 

On the downside, I cut on the running almost all week, doing some strengthening and stretching exercises and a light recovery run. But, well, it is overall rather positive.
I believer - again -  that I am on the right track.
