Oxnard - Day 8

Today, hours were limited to the early morning and late afternoon.
Someone has a real job :)
It was all about rebuilding the cable clutch, throttles and wheel steering.
It is not fun to work in the engine compartment , the head in the bilge.
But i was quite excited as a successful repair will make the boat be able to leave port again :)

Engine Throttle cable : checked

Transmission Cable : Checked

Cables in place, ready to be dropped in the stand.

Rebuild, Chain and wheel cable in place : Checked

Cables back on the rudder post : Checked

Adding the compast, and the fancy light : Checked

Putting back the wheel itself : Checked.

After playing with the engine and clutch for 10 minutes, still on the dock, I am positive : everything is working as expected and better than before (cables are new and I realigned some stuff too :).
Yeah !
Back in business !
